Cate Osborn

 My background in music started at an early age with piano lessons and singing in choir. I pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education and earned my Master's Degree in education in 2019. I taught elementary music in schools for nearly a decade before becoming a full-time DJ. A desire to understand the world of electronic music got me into DJing, and what started as a hobby and creative outlet has turned into my career and passion. I have been DJing weddings since 2019 and I love bringing the soundtrack to my couple's celebrations. 

As a DJ, l craft sets with a wide variety of genres while incorporating my unique perspective as a classically trained musician and vocalist. I especially love hip-hop, pop, 70s and 80s, and any music by female artists. I look to blend these genres into my sets; paired with your requests and the perfect songs to fit the moment. Years of running my own concerts (audio engineering, public speaking, people-herding, etc.) has helped me acquire the dynamic skills to rock weddings and private events. No matter the party, I can entertain 8-to-88 year-olds! 

I have experience DJing and running sound at weddings, corporate parties, celebrations of life, mitzvahs, pool parties, school dances, proms, and karaoke parties. 

In my free time you can find me dancing to live music, soaking in a hot spring, working out in a BodyPump class, eating tacos, or snuggling my three cats :)
